National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6th - May 10th, 2024, is an annual celebration to honor and give thanks to educators nationwide.

Reclassification Ceremony

Bassett Unified will be honoring students who have been reclassified from English Learner to Fluent English Proficient. The ceremony will be April 18 at Torch Middle School in the Watanabe Center. Grades k-5 will start at 3 PM, and Grades 6-12 will start at 4 PM

LCAP Educational Partners' Meeting - February 28, 2024

Please join us for our LCAP Educational Partners' Meeting , February 28 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Bassett High School, room 307.

BUSD Partners with Hazel for Virtual Mental Health Services

Bassett USD has launched a new mental health service with Hazel Health. With Hazel Health, students can meet with a licensed therapist virtually for a therapy appointment. Services are available at school and at home, and are at no cost to families.

Bassett Unified School District Seeks a Personnel Commissioner

Bassett Unified School District is seeking interested applicants to serve a three-year term as Joint Appointee to the Personnel Commission. Interested Los Angeles County residents (you must reside in the Bassett Unified School District territorial boundaries) should submit the attached application no later than Friday, August 9, 2024 at 3:00pm to Jonnell Sanchez, Personnel Director at 904 N Willow Avenue, La Puente, CA 91746. Candidates will be interviewed by the Personnel Commission at a Public Hearing tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
