BUSINESS SERVICES DIVISION
The Business Services Department includes the following departments: Fiscal Services, Purchasing, Maintenance, Operations and Transportation, Risk Management, Nutrition Services, Facilities Planning and Construction and Security/Campus Safety.
FISCAL SERVICES
The Fiscal Services team strives to maintain the fiscal integrity of the District providing accurate and timely professional financial assistance. We will provide oversight for all finance and business related operations of the District and ensure that resources are effectively received, allocated, disbursed and accounted for to carry out the education and support activities of the school district. We will provide quality customer service and support helping District staff deliver quality programs promoting superior student achievement.

PURCHASING
The Purchasing Department is responsible for the purchase of all equipment, supplies and services for use within the District. Purchases are made on the basis of prices and availability and/or past performance and suitability. Vendors wishing to be placed on a bid list should send a letter stating the type of products or services to the attention of the Purchasing Department. FACILITIES PLANNING & CONSTRUCTION
The Facilities Planning and Construction Department identifies the need for new schools, determines school site locations, and plans and constructs projects as approved by the Board of Education. Services include overseeing planning, new construction, major renovations, modernization, and projects funded by Measure V.
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS
Maintenance and Operations consists of many important departments. Grounds installs and maintains the athletic fields, playgrounds, and landscaping at all sites. Custodial Services cleans and maintains all sites. Maintenance and Tradesmen include the pool technicians, plumbers, electricians, heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC) technicians, welders, audio-visual (AV) technicians, computer technicians, auto mechanics, painters, and maintenance staff who maintain the physical plant of each site.

SECURITY / CAMPUS SAFETY
Campus Safety Officers patrol the District and provide security for students, District property, and employees. The department also supervises the training and requirements for Campus Supervisors on the middle and high school campuses. Security works closely with local law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe school climate at all times.

TRANSPORTATION
The Transportation Office provides bus passes, coordinates routing of bus routes and works with the schools, parents and employees to solve transportation problems as they occur.

NUTRITION SERVICES
The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the
USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
